Sometime I have written a discussion and posted it then wish I had added a sentence or maybe explained myself a little more but by then its too late and the discussion is up and running. Or, I type in tags, press submit and suddenly realised that I have mis spelled a word but its too late Do you wish you have the opportunity to re edit a post because of these mistakes?

But you do. Instead of hitting the post button, hit the rewiew button right next to the left of the post button. You can edit, correct and add, then reviw as many times as you like before you post. Happy reviewing and posting.

My point is - you have just spelt review as rewiew and then reviw - We all do it and those are the things that, even if you use the review feature, you can miss I will try to take a bit more care though

Yes you are right. I do the review and post and often I have missed a type. But then it is too late. LOL

Yes, I do wish we could edit a discussion when we realize we've left something important out. On my latest one, I left out one important fact. If the people responding don't read the link to the whole story, they are not responding to what I was referring to. Also, if they just respond from the email link, they have no idea that I added the extra sentence in the comments to the first few responses that were made. That's another thing that myLot needs to do; have the email link take you to the first page of the discussion so you can read ALL of it, then respond. That's what they ask us to do, but then give that shortcut to responding, and many people respond wrongly by not reading the whole discussion, or at least the first page. I really hope myLot admin will take this into consideration in their next upgrade. Many people are asking for these things since I started on here last October.

Yeah - I have only been here a few days but sometimes feel that there is a vital bit of information left out of a post because you write it as you think it Then when you read it and people start to respond, you realise that they are not quite getting the point and there is something that is missed The comments later feature allows you to respond individually but when you reply you only see the response from the person who first made that point, NOT the content of the last particular comment

Hello, how are you. I don't think that we have been properly introduced. I'm Queen Miss Type. I rule over typo land and I am fluent in typonese. It is my pleasure to meet you. Now where is that re edit button?

It has also happened to me. I posted a discussion and I realized that I mispelled a word there in my topic, I couldn't go back to edit or correct it. So what I did was to post the same or similar title and had to inform the reader that I made a typo error in the topic that I posted. The one that has a typo error got only one response and the other one has 5 responses. I wish there is a way here or a a feature where we can edit the discussion or correct mispelled words in the discussion.

I must admit I haven't reposted - I have just tried to add a comment to the first response to hopefully correct such errors But I can't correct tags other than to add a new tag sometimes to correct the mis spelled word

I do wish they had an edit button sometimes. I would like to correct my posts when I spell something wrong or if I leave a word out or if I just want to add more into it.

Sure - Or even add a comments feature to your own post (before anyone responds) just to correct or make additions
