Do you work 3rd shift? Your likes & dislikes about working nights?

I work late nights. It's sometimes hard to keep in contact w/ friends ~ which is why I primarily e-mail them instead of using the phone. But it's nice to be off work during the day ~ to keep doctors' appointments, etc. Your thoughts?

I've not officially had a job working third shift. However, there was one job that I worked where we may come in in the afternoon and work until midnight or later and then have to turn right back around to come in early in the morning Sometimes we would be there all day from the early morning to the late night. Needless to say it was hard work and was really draining me. Other then that I have worked on mylot third shift. My husband is looking for a third shift job now that he could do and if he gets one I will be switching to be up at night with him even though I do not have a job. So instead of working during the day online with sites like this one, I would be working at night so that I could be up when he is off work. We have one friend that works third shift and he is really one of our closest friends. He has wanted someone to work third shift so that he would have someone to hang out with so hopefully my husband will be able to work third shift and if so our friend will have someone to talk to and hang out with on his nights off and not have to accomodate to hang out during the day when he should be sleeping.
