first of all you are talking about an evolution over thousends of years, not something that was sudden. Secondly, why would a species not exist anymore because an other species has evolved from them? If you do believe in evolution there are a lot of species that are still around, despite the fact that the next evolutionary sep is also present on this earth.

I agree with you nietske. I would only add in response to the question that humans did not descend from monkeys. Humans and chimpanzees evolved from a common ancestor that, it is estimated, existed on earth about 6 million years ago. No fossils have been found for this ancester probably because the population was very small. However, many fossils of earlier human ancestors do exist

Not exactly as you say: we and monkeys got a common ancestor, whom apes look closer! So the question is, wherefor did humans acquire all that stuff which makes us different from many and many other living --and very well living-- non-human beings? (such as opponible thumbs, standing posture, smiling, buring et cetera). The answer is that he (the human being) " evolved ": he tried to do something different, and he was luky... the thing worked, by the way he was very very luky, the thing worked so well that now we are here wondering how could it happen! And some of us are also trying to avoid that other species could extinguish for our absentmindedness.

Those were the monkeys too smart to evolve. Just look at the people who say that we evolved from monkeys. They still look that way. AND THEY'RE STOOPID.

Are you saying that you don't believe in evolution?

EVOLUTION is a theory. But you monkeys take it as fact. Gawd! No wonder you're so easily taken in by the GLOBAL WARMING theory. IT'S NOT FACTS MY FIRENDS.

Again, I am awestruck by your articulate response. And of course your ability to spell. Alas, I will resign myself to the tree branch from which I came, and eat a banana in sorrow for my apparent lowliness in comparison to the great CarlyLaine. Moneythatmatter, you ask a common but very valid question. Often evolutionists will dodge or half answer the question by telling us that man and ape shared a common ancestor but even the evolutionist G.G Simpson had no time for this "pussyfooting", as he called it. He said, "In fact, the earlier ancestor would certainly be called an ape or monkey in popular speech by anyone who saw it. Since the terms ape and monkey are defined by popular usage, man's ancestors were apes or monkeys (or successively both). It is pusillanimous if not dishonest for an informed investigator to say otherwise." The question remains what environmental changes were at work that would allow one to evolve all the way to man with superior intelligence, a special area in the brain designated for speech, anatomical parts for speech, etc. and the other not to? All we are ever told it seems is "that's what happened" as it there were any science behind such a notion.

i believe in creation.i believe that god created man.i don't believe in secular evolution.life is too complex to have originated by chance from micro-organism.i don't believe human developed from monkey

The current theory is that humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor. However, even if they didn't evolve from a common ancestor, it's not impossible for a creature to evolve from another, and still have the original species still around. Theoretically, if a species were to be split up by a vastly large distance, and one of the different groups had to adapt, it is possible that they would evolve while the other groups did not.

The so-called missing human link is just another evolution myth that they expect you to believe by mere faith alone as there is no scientific evidence to support this claim.

becoz humans want 2 see how they look as well as behave earlier
