Suffering from inferiority complex

I've always been a chubby kid. People would compare me to my elder brother and would notice me as the fat kid and him the smart one. My parents deliderately embarrass me, my friends, classmates and teachers always ask why I'm not as smart as my brother. I hated them and I hated myself so for sometime, I've just kept myself locked in my room. When I went to college, suddenly everything seemed to fade away, including my hate. As I grew older I've realized that nothing of what they think of me should matter. I live and I do the things I love, and that I shouldn't waste my time feeling sorry for myself.

I feel it is important to have confidence in oneself. We should have self belief, have faith in ourself and in our abilities. It's good that you realised that we shouldn't worry what negative remarks one passes. As it won't really affect you until you also start believing in it and allow it to affect you. Just because someone calls you a fool doesn't make you one. I hope you get my point. I feel you should be very positive in life, think positively always even when going gets tough and surround yourself with positive people as healthy environment is helpful. and dont' take negative talk or jokes or comments too seriously laugh it off have the ability to laugh at yourself it will help you. And remember one thing no one is perfect everyone has faults or weaknesses. It is about how we maximise our strengths and minimise our weeknesses that's important. And you can't satisfy anybody, nobody can. So be happy and keep smiling. Have a great day. :)
