Me and my family once lived in a place very close to the church. Since I was born, I am being exposed to religious rites and practices. I was also been a part of the church's different religious groups. Later on, I invited my brothers too to join the group or in any other group in our church, and they do. We enjoyed being a part of the church organization. My childhood activities mostly focuses on the activities we had in the church. I do have a lot of unforgettable memories and realization in life. It contributed a lot to my own personal development, not only in my spiritual life but in all aspect of life. I've learned so much that I can never exchanged it to anything valuable the world can offer. In college, I am dreaming to be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and have my own business. Now, I am a CPA already but I don't have a business of my own right now. I am an internal head accountant of a certain company with a chain of restaurants and catering services. Lately, I was able to analyze my accomplishments in life. What is the true meaning of living in this material world of us? For me, this material world of us will come to an end, it is temporary. It is to glorify God and share His words to everyone we meet everyday. Be a fisher of men.... is the true meaning of living here.... be a missionary even in a small doings. Doing what is right in the midst of worldly temptations that we encounter everyday... it is very hard. But its how our faith is measured. How bout you? How can you fight those worldy temptations you encountered everyday? What do you think your mission in life? What have you done so far to accomplish such mission? Do you find it easy?

I find it not easy. To fight this worldly temptations we encountered everyday, is not an easy task. It is how we get along with this and handle such as demonic acts. We cannot stop temptations even the Higher One experienced it too based on the Bible.Through this, our faith was measured on how strong and firm we are on our beliefs. This is quite a mission to me too on how to avoid it and how to handle it and solve. You know, I asked myself on how strong am I to fight this worldly temptations you are refering to. I doubt on my capability but in my faith I affirm I can handle it because I have HIM in my life. Sometimes, we go along this thing because as they said we are only humans made of flesh and blood tends to be perpetuated with desires and happiness. My missions in life is to live a life that is given to you in meanest way to gain merits and purposely, performs his beautiful ways as an example of HIM on earth. This faith and life within me, is part of my tools to live on earth on how to walk immaculate on my doings and how do you live a life full of temptations. I know, you know, we all know that we will be sentence and judge on our works in the mere next life. And what I have done on this mission, was keeping on my belief that there is ONE above us who is powerful and loving to his creations. I did some accomplishments but I did it in a simplest way through on my doings that only me can tell I did it. I don't want someone can comment on the good deeds I did but rather let them know what bad things I did to my self. You can do both the two being a missionary and a businesswoman by having your own business to establish and while doing some business to improve it, you can do some charitable works just helping others in good things in life. It doesn't need you to finance it but your willingness to help by heart. Helping and doing charity by heart is that matter most to us as missionaries in God's name.

Thank you very much for responding! Living your life in the meanest way possible especially while living as an example of HIM is really great. How can you do it? Can you cite further some circumstances in your life that you've been showing to others you are an example of HIM? say for example while you are at work, while you are with your friends and even with anybody else. I did gave you a positive rate because doing such things in small ways and even in an unnoticeable way is the best way we could in this chaotic world of us. Living His faith and life within us is our strength in our everyday life. We could face and combat evil if we have Him within us. We need nothing more if He is within us. He is the greatest provider and creator of everything. We must be gratefull to Him every moment of our life. We are nothing without Him, so offer to Him all that you have. Share all your blessings to others without expecting something in return. True happiness can be felt every time you make someone smile and lighten up their burdens. It is the feeling that you can be proud of and will surely last long.

Worldly temptations to me is desire. Yet here we are with a great paradox that even desiring a more spiritual state of consciousness, is a desire! I see the world as relative. For instance, if you have good, you can only really know it by comparison to bad. Happiness to sadness and so on... I don't feel life as a mission so much as a lesson in completion and closure. I feel I need to create more strength to accept and observe life in order to learn how to let go and move on - which is a constant thing. I live and hope my sharing and example of living will assist others. I like to demonstrate, "it's OK for it to be hard, if it were easy we wouldn't find so much value." I started my my working life as a musician piano/keyboard player. Then live musicians were wanted less and less so I re-trained as a psychotherapist, which I have done ever since. My music I think, taught me appreciation of creative energies that helped me later as a therapist. I feel fortunate in having been involved in work I love.

Sphinxter, As a Christian, we are always on a mission to share God's word everyday. To fight the temptations, we must be stedfast and keep our faith anchored in Christ. It is not easy because the desires of the flesh is strong but can be overcome if you have a strong relationship with the Lord. I'm not sure what the Lord's mission is for me but I think he wants me to share my testimony about how he's healed me as an example to others that forget he is a healer. I recently had a surgical procedure done and it was discovered that my right vocal cord is paralyzed and the left one is partially the same. It is by God's grace that I'm able to speak. God is so good and I intend to tell my testimony every time I get the chance. May God shower you with many blessings as you continue to walk with God. Jerryn
