on my first week of mylotting i got a first rating. i am now 9. 10 i think is highest. i am now above payout and waiting for squirt at paypal. one thing you can do to help your rating is get a nifty little avatar. something unique to you that's clear and visable. note the pic that's next to my name; that's my avatar.

You upload your avatar from the edit your profile/customise your profile. As far as we know, your avatar has nothing to do with the reputation rating, but it helps people identify you quickly and easily.

I remember I reach my star rating when I reach 100 posts. My first star was a yellow star and it is number 8. I was so happy that time and became more happier when I reach 9 and 10 star but sad to say it I go back to 9 again. So if you receive your star rating I suggest you to post quality responses so you can maintain your rating. You'll get it when you receive you reach 100 posts. Good luck and keep posting.

It is not the color of the star but the number on it is important. The number or the star rating is dependent on the reputation number whioch is dependent on the ratings given to our responses by the other members. The reputation number can be seen by placing the mouse over the star.As you can see that my present reputation is 93/100 , this reputation decides the star number.Mylot has formed some ranges for the star ratings for star rating 10 the reputation should be more then 95/100, for star rating 9 it should be between 86/100 to 95/100, etc. The more the members rate our responses +ve the more our reputation increases and hence our star ranking also increases.

Does the color of star have a specific meaning? I've seen red, yellow, purple, etc. Can you explain it?

You will get your rating and a start after you get 100 posts, that mean you are 43 posts away from the rating. The rating represnts the quality of responses, the highest you get is 10 and ou will get a star also, blue star represnts a rating of 10, a red star represents a rating of 9, yellow star represents a rating of 8,etc.... 100 post is the first benchmark you have to reach in mylot, and then the second benchmark is 500 post which it is the point when you will become the full member of mylot,at that time ,you can copy and paste something onto your reply and add image to your reply. Work hard and you will reach the benchmark soon.

Good afternoon! As far as I remember, I have received my first rating in MyLot when I got my 100th post. You will see this number of post beside your username. It will appear as soon as you reach your 100th post, you will also have your star too. Keep posting, so you will be able to have and see your rating here. Goodluck!

A positive or negative rating from other members would be counted in your MyLot reputation rating and not in the number of post you have made. You will notice this whenever your ratings goes up or down. If you wanted to have a high rating, you must post and respond in quality and length. Relativity is also important and must be considered.

Thank you. Doesn't it is counted based on positif rating we've received on our posts?

You have to reach 100 to get a star, I remember when my star first showed up, the rating inside is 6. I reckon mylotters should have rated my answers or something before my star shows up. So I believe it could be of any ratings in it when yours show up because it depends on how others rate your discussions and posts.

I can give you a classic example. I joined Mylot around 9 days back. And, just a couple of minutes back, I touched the 100 posts mark and got the rating immediately. I now have a "Red Star" rating...... i am at 87/100.
