Are You Ever At A Loss To Begin A Discussion?

this is precisely the reason why i don't start that much discussions. i don't like starting discussions already posted before. i just end up responding to other's discussions. the topics i come up with are things i just thought of out of the blue. sometimes i read through the discussions here and i think of something like a follow up question of some sort. i ask it because i am also baffled by the topic. i don't have any inspiration or motivation. i just post when i want to ask something or when i want to know the opinion of others. how about you, wachit14? how did you come up with this discussion? were you at a loss and so posted this?

I have this problem alot as well i make sure that i have pen and paper handy at all times though, Whether i am at work or at a friends house in my car. I keep this with me in cause something comes up that i think might make a good discussion and i also you life experiences and problems i have or information that i need some input on things like that.

Yeah there are so many of the same discussions whats the point of starting a discussion if someone else has discussed it? If I have a need or really want to know something then I will start a discussion.

I hardly ever run out of topics to begin discussions, however, I hardly get the amount of responses I desire or think my topics deserve, so, ultimately. I lose interest in starting discussions.

I'm always at a loss about discussions, in fact I only post one or two a week. One idea is looking in the news to see what the hot topic is and maybe start a discussion from that? It's worth a try I guess.

Well like today I am at a lost so I just respond to discussion until something comes to, or read discussions to see what is out there and go into more detail with a discussion.

I try for original topics. I do draw blank quite often. Then again if I do come up with something original; almost no one replies. Seems like you are da*ned if you do and dam*ned if you don't.
