Every day vs. Everday, Advice vs. Advise: Do you know the difference?

I'm an educator and compiling materials for young learners is one of my hobbies. Without running to google or asking your mamas, please tell me if you know the difference between the two sets of words. If no, what problems do you have with it?

"Every day" denotes "each" day, whereas "everyday" denotes something "routine", as an 'everyday event'. "Advice" is a noun (describes something); "advise" is a verb (the "action of advising"). Both sets of words are frequently misused (myself included). Good luck!

I do know the differences between these words, but I am an educator as well, so it might not be a fair question. The two words that I have to watch myself with are effect vs. affect. I know them, but they do cause me to stop and think from time to time. Great topic...:)

I advise you to give advice. I love words.
