Are you a talker or listener ? Most of the time a not a great conversationist, depending on the situation, I'm not great at putting my feelings into words. I would have to say that I am a great listener though, Im often called upon as a shoulder to lean on. What about you ?

I enjoy both, but listening takes first place for me. I will ask questions to get others talking. I love to find out everything, almost, about other people. If you listen you can find out the coolest stuff about someone that you would never have dreamed about them. I really love to find other people who are primarily listeners and get them to talk about themselves. It is always surprising and true what they say about "still waters run deep". I will pretty much try to engage anyone in conversation.

I prefer to be a good listener... because i'm really not good in talking... sometimes i cant find the right words to say... so instead of talking i just listen... and i always get shy when i try to say what i feel or what's in my mind because i 'm scared that i might offend or hurt someone...

I have always been a listener most of the time. I always listen to my friends when they need someone to talk to or need a friend to listen to them.

A lot of the time I only ever open my mouth to change feet. I'm the one who fills those awkward silences. I'm the one who takes charge and becomes the leader when necessary. Want a spokesperson...that will be mind hand you see going up. It seems that speaking out is a job most people don't want and I'm the type of person who will happily do the jobs others don't want to do.

I guess I can be considered a good conversationist. I do a lot of both. I talk a lot, but I also stop to listen to whatever you have to say. I use to big only a big talker. People got annoyed with this. Started to say, I sounded like a woman. So, I stopped and started trying to just listen. Then people thought something was wrong with me :P Go figure. So, now, I try to balance the two. I don't think everyone was meant to be "Great" conversationists. To be honest, I wouldn't say I am a great one either, because at times, I can talk at around 1000 words a minute :P lol.

LOL.... Thats great. Im quiet so I guess its just in my nature to be a listener, Its always how its been. If there are a lot of people I get way too shy to talk.

i would rather prefer to listen than to be the talker... i hate to give advices that the one i am giving won't even listen.. better to keep quiet and listen.. lol..
