Do you ever order pizza on any holidays? Do you think that pizza places should be open on the holidays? Tomorrow is Easter and the pizza place I work in is going to be open, I just don't think we're going to do enough business for it to be worth it.

I think Chinese places do more business than pizza plaes on holiday. I know this past Christmas we had a few extra people stop by for dinner so I called for some take out and while it wasn't a traditinal holiday meal, everyone had a full belly.

It's funny, but a lot of the time the Chinese restaurants around here are usually closed on Christian holidays even more than pizza places are.

Pizza in my country is liked by one and all, right from the kids to adults to older adults. Yes, they are open on sundays, holidays and festivals. And those are the days that they make the best business, cos there are many people who spend their time at the eat-ins and also many people who order. But sure, if you are a christian, you can demand for a holiday on easter, and im sure that your employer will be kind enough to provide you with the same. In case you are asking for a holiday on Easter, then be sure not to hurt sentiments. all the best and happy easter mike the lil smiley devil

In normal days, who are the pizza eaters? What difference will it make if it is a holday? If I am operating the pizza store, I will definitely open the store. Since it is a holiday, many would not cook and would order out since it is more convenient. I am not refering to housewives who will defnitely cook for the guests. I am refering to friends who get together as it is a holiday. I am merely catering to the convenience of these and I guess there will be businesses as usual. It depends on the crowd in usual days.

We ended up doing $1,100 worth of business last night which is a pretty big decrease in sales from what we usually do on a Sunday night, but really is much better than I thought we would do. I guess it's good that we did stay open!

I would depending on the holiday. We didn't end up doing much yestarday, so I just had a frozen pizza for dinner. A real pizza would have been better. I didn't think any of the pizza places here would be open, so I didn't call!

actually i'm a hotel and restaurant management graduate here in the philippines... you can demand for holiday if your a christian...but in food business, there are no holidays usually..food business industry sometimes just give their foodservice crew double pay during holidays... i still remember i'm still in duty during Good Friday but it's only half day...

I definitely think that pizza outlets should be opened on holidays. I would prefer to order pizzas on holidays compare to normal days. I'm not sure about what others think but I personally think that eating places earn more on holidays.
