bus or subway system?

I don't have a car so when using the transit system, I will take the subway, which we call the metro here in Montreal, over the bus any day. It is quicker to get around.

I prefer taking the train to the bus. In Singapore, train arrival timings are more predictable and reliable. They are also my comfortable. That's why, where possible, I will rather take the train than the bus.

I would take the bus over the metro anyday. The metro is quicker, yes, but also underground, where there are no windows, too many people, it's hot and stinky! I get nervous when there are too many people and not enough air to breathe, so the bus is my way to go.

I don't live in a place where either are an option and the cost of taxi's can more than add up. Thankfully I do have a car...an old one, but it runs. I would probably opt for the subway if it's the quickest and is convenient to use.

We don't have a subway were I live. you can take the bus of course and we have an above ground transit train as well. I don't use either unless it is essential for some reason, because I prefer to drive myself.

i dont have a car either. when i was younger and i would go to downtown toronto to go buy some books are the worlds biggest bookstore with my brother and grandfather, it was really fun to take the subway. it is very cool down there because it is somewhat insulated from the outside weather. i have found that the subway rockets by but the bus takes a lot longer to get to places because of all the traffic up there.

I personally donĀ“t have the option of taking the subway, although I would prefer it if it were. Here we just have chicken buses and pickups. Of the two, I prefer pickups because although you have to sit in the back, they get you to your destination so much faster than the bus that dawdles along and waits at every drive to see if someone might, just might, come out and board the bus!

Public transport system is awful in sydney, no matter you catch the bus or train,it is not reliable. Although there are timetables for bus and train, they seldom arrive on time, sometimes they are cancelled or having big delay. Still ,I prefer train to bus because it is relatively quicker as it will not be affected by the road condition liek traffic jam, also i can take a good rest on the train if I can find seat. I cannot sleep on the bus because the roads in sydney are quite bumpy sometimes..

I prefer taking a bus as the bus bring me to my doorstep, and it is cheaper fare. To travel by subway or Mass Rapid Transit (known as MRT in Singapore), I would need to take feeder bus to bring me to the final destination. It might be faster and more comfortable travelling using MRT but to travel to the station, it takes extra time, which more or less compensate for the slowness by bus.
