i have to be biased and say, the strongest person on earth indeed is a mother, but for me, it's MY mother. mothers are very strong because of the love they have for their children. they suffered for 9 months and has made a lot of sacrifices for us. they will fight not only for their own sake but more for their children. they will risk their lives for them. a mother will work until she sweats blood just because she wants her children to have the best in life. i could go on and on. a mother is just the best!

you're so right! funny thing is, we never come to fully appreciate our own mothers if we do not become mothers ourselves.

true indeed, joshdale08. when we become mothers ourselves, only then can we understand why our mothers are strict or why they won't let us do the things we want. i hope my mom knows how much i love her. i don't often say it but i do.

Yes, most mothers are very strong.. one reason being it takes a lot of inner strength to be self sacrificing, in that a good mother will put her children, which is a full time 'job' and then some, above her own self interest. And then too in times of crises most mothers will be strong for the sake of the others..

it is indeed a full time job - 24/7, no breaks, no vacations, no promotions, no trophies, sometimes, no appreciation. but, it's the noblest of all jobs.

I'm not sure there is really is a "Strongest Person" Mothers are incredibly strong people I think but so are American Soldiers and who is to say that one is stronger than the other? Each person goes through major events in their life and they handle them individually. I do not believe it would be right or fair to designate a "strongest person" just because they go through different things than someone else. You never know if the effects that what one goes through in their life has on them

I think a mother will gain imense strength if she needs to protect her child. She will find both physical and metal strengths that she did not even know she had if she needs to protect her child

true! and it's more than just adrenaline rush! when you're a mother, it's an all-time high, if you get what i mean.

Of course they're really strong..it's not that easy to give birth and care/ nurturing a child who sometimes disobey their parents..they're really strong but I admit that I think fathers are stronger..they support our mothers and it's not just financially or what..but also emotionally..they are always there for our mothers ( this is true to those who are sensible and loyal to their partners)

yeah, right! but i still think a mother is the strongest person on earth. no other person is capable of carrying and nurturing another person within her for 9 months and still do ordinary, everyday things. no other person has the ability to forget herself in favor of a baby. only a mother has the emotional & physical strength to bring up a baby, teach her, guide her, show her how to survive and when they've grown old enough, be able to let go. i'm not discounting the contribution of the father, and some fathers even do the work of a mother, but it's not just the same if you're the one who bore the child. the role of a mother is just so great and so noble, you just can't find the right words to describe her greatness. and only when we ourselves become mothers do we realize and start to recognize her very important role....

For me my mom is the most strongest person on earth, know why?because since i was small, eventhough we pass through many ups and downs in our life, still my mother is there continue to fight and showing us that life must go on.She's always there when we needed her until now...thats why i can say that my mom is the strongest person here on earth.
