How long do you expect it to take for your pizza to be delivered to you after you call in a delivery order? How long do you have to wait before you will call and complain that your pizza is late? When your pizza is late do you demand that it be free?

Let's set variable x. x = the amount of time I was told on the phone it would take, usually in a range (30-45 minutes) Now, if that pizza gets to me in anywhere between x-30 and x-15 minutes, I'm very pleased, and tip better. If the pizza gets to me in x+-15 mins, I am happy and tip normally. If the pizza takes more than 30 minutes longer than the max of the range given as x, I become perturbed. When it arrives, I will be relieved, but not necessarily tip as much. Finally, if the pizza is 45 minutes past due on the max of x, I call.

99% of the times it's delivered within 20-25 mins of placing an order..it's only happened once with me that it was delivered in abt 50 mins and it was all cold by then..i had to ring up and complain abt the same that day but otherwise never had a problem..

I expect to wait about half an hour. I once waited an hour and it was cold when it got here.

Well, we live on a military base, but usually don't order from the place on base. The Pizza Hut we order from is about 10 miles from here, so I know that just from the time it gets done to the time that they get to my house, it's a good 20-25 minutes, depending on who the guard is on duty and how busy the gate is. Usually they tell us 45 minutes to an hour. It's never taken longer than about an hour and ten minutes. I've heard of other people on base waiting over an hour and a half, though. But we tip well, and I think they keep that in mind if they have several deliveries on base.

Usually it would take 15-20 minutes before the pizza will arrive at our doorsteps.Beyond that time I would definitely complain and even canceled my orders if they would not discounted it when it arrives late in our place.

It all depends. But if they tell me 45mins and show up before or a little after that I'm content. IF it's more than 15-20 minutes later I get cranky. I wont call and demand it to be free. I may call and question where my food is. I just may not choose to order from them for a while.

Where I live Dominoes and Pizza Hut are real close to my house. I mean the delivery man/woman could walk the pizza in 30 minutes.Pizza Hut is about a block away from Dominoes. but when I call for Pizza Hut, it takes about 40 to 50 minutes to get to my house. While if I call Dominoes not only do i get my Pizza in 20 minutes or less, it is alway piping hot. With Pizza Hut,after the 30 minutes have passed and i hvae called, it takes another 10 to 15 minutes to get to my house and by then the pizza is cold.

maximum by 20-25 min our delivery should be done. we order from pizza hut and they always take max. to max. 30 min. to deliver it to our place. if the time goes above it, like 40-45 min. then i call to check what the problem is.

If I order pizza delivery from our local pizza place, I expect it to be delivered within a half hour. If it's longer than that, I wouldn't have a problem calling and checking to see how much longer it might be. I haven't really run into that problem though, our pizza place is pretty good about deliveries.

most places local to me are usually about half and hour for delivery, although in summer with traffic,it's closer to 45 minutes. i'll usually wait to an hour at the latest in summer to complain, because i know they're probably swamped.

I thin I'm a very very patient person. So I don't complain at all, the important thing I can relax and enjoy my pizza. Who want to spoil the enjoyment of eating pizza in their warm home with just a little misunderstanding. Well, I don't

When I order a pizza on the phone, I usually ask how long is it going to take to get the pizza on my doorstep. Sometimes if it is a busy time, they quote a time of around fourty minutes and the delivery guys usually come before time. On non peak hours, I expect the pizza to arrive within twenty minutes as there are man pizza outlets around my area.
