I am usually still nice to the clerk , they probley messed up because of having such a long line and being so busy . I have seen people that get really hatefull and nasty about that sort of thing and i always feel bad for the person taking care of the customers if they are trying to do their job and not slacking off.

Yes, I am nice no matter how long it takes me to get out of the store. If the clerk was trying I may laugh with her or him about my first time on the job some where. if they are slow on purpose which i have seen before, i may suggest a job that is not so demanding of their time. you can slam the ones who do not try, but the best is to tell the store manager. the ones learning should be praised for their diligence. For they will be the one who's line you will try to get in soon.

Hi, there has been a few times that I have walked out of stores because the clerk has taken along time. I've also left a trolley full of food at the checkout because someone was chatting away with their colleague rather than serve. I'm quite intolerant of poor service as I trained as a store manager and have been in customer service most of my life. Most of the time it is not the clerks fault though as you will have the customers who have forgotten something or are slow. All depends on the situation really, if they are polite to me and say sorry for the wait then I'm usually polite back.

I try to be nice to any clerk, but especially after standing in line. The clerk has had to stand there all day. I have heard some people be so rude when it isn't the clerk's fault. Clerking is a hard job!

I try to be nice. I know it must be hard to be in that sort of a job and I expect they get a lot ofpeople taking out whatever they feel like taking out on them. If I am in no hurry at all, I tell them it is fine and try to put them at their ease. If I am in a hurry, I always have the option of leaving and coming back later.
