I absolutely love garlic! I love the smell of it cooking (especially with onions) and I love the taste of it too. The only thing I don't like is the way it makes your breath smell after eating it. I also know if you eat too much garlic even your sweat will smell like garlic. Sweat smells bad enough as it is!

I don't really like the smell of freshly peeled garlic. But if it's cooked it's ok. Also take some odorless garlic pills with thyme at times because garlic is a good remedy for cough.

Garlic is fine for me.. Though it leaves a smell that's not so favorable. You can even have bad breath with it. But I like to eat food with garlic. Garlic rice, garlic bread, etc.

I love garlic! I cook with it all the time. Fresh garlic is the best for flavor. It does kind of suck that it leaves the smell on your fingers but it doesn't really bother me too much. The taste of it far outweighs the smell of it for me.

I love garlic, but not the smell of it being recycled on someone's vreath. I haveheard it is supposed to be good for your health in building the immune system and helping to prevent cancer. It is also supposed to repel fleas!

I also have a cousin who don't like the taste and smell of garlic, and I found it quite weird?!:) But then again, I know that there are people who are quite allergic to it's smell. For me, I love garlic. I use it all the time in my cooking, and I know that it is also the most natural antibiotic. Garlic has alot of uses, and the health benefits we get from it is very good for our body.

I hate the smell too but will take it in pill form for health purposes. I try to get the odorless pills. I do like it on bread and italian dishes.

I don't mind garlic and garlic bread is very nice occasionally. The thing I hate is celery. Yuk! I even hate if it has been mixed in with something like coleslaw type mixes. I hope we don't get any if we have a salad when out. The trouble is my husband likes it and would eat it from the stick! He is good though and does not eat it very often.

I love garlic. They say it keeps colds away, though I wonder if it just keeps the people away who give you the cold! Actually, it is very good for the immune system and for many other things. It is also said to be effective against vampires! If you can't stand the smell ... I wonder, LOL! Seriously, though. If you don't like the smell of it, you can buy garlic perles from healthfood stores and pharmacies which have had the smell removed. Unfortunately, it has been proved that the effective ingredient in garlic is at its best in freshly crushed garlic and that it oxidises and loses its effectiveness very quickly when it is processed.

I love it,1. Decreases the risk of cardiovascular disease by: a) lowering blood cholesterol. b) lowering blood triglycerides. c) thinning the blood. d) lowering high blood pressure. e) increasing circulation in the limbs. 2. Decreases cold and flu symptoms; assists in fighting off infections by: increasing the activity of various immune cells in the body. 3. Protects the nervous system: Memory-enhancing effects of aged garlic extract have been shown using laboratory models. Anti-ageing effects have been shown in animal studies.

I don't like garlic but the smell doesn't bother me as long as it isn't real strong. My mom on the other hand eats the cloves of garlic. I watched her one day and asked her how she could do that. She looked at me and said easy watch and threw one in her mouth and chewed it. Yuck. Of course she also eats onions like they were apples. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

same with you, I didn't really like the smell, but I eat it in a gulp like when you eat bitter pills, well garlic can improve your immune system, one garlic a day keep the disease away. maybe its true, but your breath smell like garlic because of this.
