Ok i am so confused here. can anyone please give me some kind of answer or hope? well this is what my problem is. Me and my husband are trying to concieve baby #2. i am not on birth control of any kind and i am not breastfeeding my son. i stopped breastfeeding when he was 10 days old due to some infections i got after delivery. well my last period was Feb.20th 2007 and it was normal 6 days long. i didnt have one in march and so far not in april. they say that stress or an illness can cause a late period but.........no stress at least not as much since i am a stay at home mom and my son is GREAT!! hardley ever cries only when he is hungery, and the only illness i got was a small cold a last month. i have taken HPTs and the last one i took about 3 weeks ago all negitives! what could be going on? could i be pregnant and it not show or could something else be going on. i cant get schedual a doctor appointment till April 20th when i am 2 months late! so please any advice will be great!

The supermarket pregnancy tests can not show a false positive, but they can show a false negative. So you could be pregnant.Have you had any of the early pregnancy sysmptoms that you had with your first pregnancy? It won't matter if you have to wait 2 months to get a Doctor to confirm whether or not you are pregnant. I told my Doctor I was pregnant when I was 7 weeks, & she told me not to come back until I am 3 months, which is exactly what I did.

It's definitely a possibility that you're pregnant, it's just not reading on the home tests. You'll get a more accurate reading when you go to the doctor. If you're not pregnant and something else is going on, you're doctor'll also be able to find out what it is and hopefully how to correct whatever else could be causing your missed periods.
