How do you usually travel?Do you prefer to travel alone or in a group?Today, many travel agencies provide the complete service for tourists. The travel agencies have their own co-op net to manage the board and lodging as well as transportation for the tourists.Package holidays, covering a two-week's stay in an attractive location are increasingly popular, I'm thinking about a visit to Hainan of China.

That's a real question. In my hometown we have an old say: two persons are perfect for a tour. That means if you take a tour or trip, the best choice is to have one more friend or family member with you. I have always thought it a good saying until recently a friend's experince changed my perspective. He went touring single-handly to Yunnan for nearly one month and went back home with abundance of photos and touring journals. After coming back home he started his blog. Everyday he would upload some of the photos taken in a certain scenary site and write one or two passages introducing the beauty, the characteristic, customs and habits...to go with the pictures. they are so terrific. His blog attract many visitors and I feel very interested in those places just because of his pictures and introduction. So I think if he went with his family, he could not have had such a close observation to those sceneries.

I've travelled alone and in a group before. To travel in a group with friends and people that you know, is a totally different experience compared to complete strangers. Some inconsiderate ones make you wait in the coach while they take their time browsing over the same thing. When i travel with friends & family, it is easier to do 'crowd control' because we normally have a fixed itinerary everyday and everyone gets a copy. This is to make sure that everybody is happy and enjoy the trip as well as the company. We normally plan the trips ourselves.

I prefer to travel in a group of 4. But not a travel agency arranged group of strangers. I like traveling with my friends and family this way. It's economical. A hotel room or rental car split 4 ways makes it possible to take more trips because of the money we save. Plus it's fun with people you know.

i joined Package holidays several years ago.certainly.they arranged all the things,we needn't consider those things,so we enjoyed it,but the arrangements have been so rushed!sometimes we haven't enough time to enjoy the beautiful scenery.some guides often took us shopping.i think these things are bad.i'd prefer to travel alone .

I think it depends of one's purpose of traveling and civil status. If its for vacation and she/he already have family (I mean marriage) then probably he/she will enjoy it more with his/her children and spouse. If its for educational and he/she is single, I think it best to travel alone and enjoy everything in vacation and manage time for his/her own likes that would be limited if you have a companion. But then you can still make it productive whether just yourself or in a company. It depends on how you are well organized with things in front of you.

I would love to go on a group tour. I haven't been on one for donkeys years lol. But I also like to be like the locals and get to know some of the customs and language of the people. I don't like holidays that are too regimented. A little spontaneity is nice sometimes don't you think? Lucky you, going to the country I want to go too. Please post us a picture if you do and let us Mylotters know about your escapades we will all love to know I am sure.
