It's okay if the baby doesn't like apple. But if it is a concern, you could try chopping the meat (white stuff) up in a food processor. This will turn the apple to softer sauce that the child will probably enjoy more. You could try to give him peaches, and pears instead. Maybe doesn't like the color or the crunch of certain fruits. You'll have to keep experimenting, since every child is different. Do you like apples? Does he see you eating them?

With so many fruits out there why worry about apples. I realize that it is inexpensive, but so are pears, oranges, grapes, as well you can give your baby raw vegetables that he can eat as well celery, carrot sticks cucumber, zucchini, cauliflower floret's broccoli peeled stems or floret's, the list is endless, My granddaughter can't eat apples as the skin gags her so we peel it and she is OK with that but she can and does love grapes berries, plumbs. remember they only eat small quantities so even if grapes are $3.99 a pound you only have to buy about 10 grapes for a child. Please make sure you wash the fruit even if you are going to peal it as contaminates can be passed along on you hands for example if you peel an orange with out washing it your bare hands are touching the peel and fruit with in. Hope this helped. I your child has not eaten grapes before please cut them in half or they might try to swallow them whole.

Why does it matter if he/she doesn't eat apple. Don't panic and try to force them, as your child grows older they may decide they like apples, but we all have foods we don't like to eat and forcing someone to eat it will just make them hate it more.

Kids can be tricky like that. Just keep trying different things. If they dont take it, wait a few months and try it again. Try also not to throw a bunch of different things at them at once either. This makes it hard to determain the source if they develop an alergy to something. I found that grape juice is a kid's favorite usualy, water it a little bit if it may be too strong by itself. Kids can be fussy eaters and drinkers. Their tastes change often too so kepp trying.
