How far along should you be in the pregnancy before you tell family, friends, coworkers, etc?

I would say whenever you feel comfortable. I'm not and I will never get pregnant since Im a guy, but I would say before it gets noticable that you are pregnant. And like the post above me said about waiting when a miscarriage becomes more unlikely. That would decrease Dissapointment, Sadness, and things like that for your family.

That is a personal decision that the couple should make together. I had suffered infertility for 9 years so, when I finally got pregnant, we decided not to say anything to anyone until my first trimester was over. LOL...ended up being silly in hindsight because all my problems started with my second trimester and I delivered at the end of my 6th month of pregnancy.

With my first three pregnancies, I waited until the end of the first trimester, because that is when the risk of miscarriage becomes much less. But with my last pregnancy, I told everyone immediately after I took the home pregnancy test - I felt that confident in the pregnancy.

They say three months or to wait until your our of the clear for a miscarriage but I couldn't wait. I am not big on keeping my mouth shut. lol. So I guess it's up to you and when you feel most comfortable letting people know.
