Mylot should form a welcoming committee!

I think its a great idea but cant convert it into reality as people are bussy doing other things aswell online while they post on mylot like i am on some 7-8 other paid forums aswell at this moment and i dont think will manage to do something like that, so every now and than whenever someone claims he/she is new i always responded with my warmest welcome to him/her on mylot and tried to help him/her in increase of earnings aswell in mylot.

I think folks are people are pretty good about welcoming if someone announces they are new here..Mylot has some pretty good guidelines..etc. Can you imagine trying to keep up with the welcomes..there must be over 1000 new sign ups a week..:)+ I think it's a good idea but whether it's possible?:)

Sounds like a great idea to me, whenever someone new has taken the trouble to respond to my discussion, I always try when I can in responding to welcome them to Mylot. I think you would be great my friend, MsSnow the hostess the mostess ;0)

It is a really nice Idea but I personally don't have the time, I can't spread myself any thinner these days. I have just completed my second book and I am on my third one now.

It sounds good to me. I always say welcome to Mylot when I see the response from the newbie.

I had this idea right from the beginning since i do visit many forums and they have a separate area to wish new users. Thats really a cool way and all the new comers won't be confused about what this mylot is really about. Sharing old users experiences with new users will give them a clear picture and at the same time mylot will be clean without any spam or junk discussions.

I think that's a good idea. We could be on a welcoming committee and mylots could send us their emails so we could show them how things work around here.

Good idea, mssnow! I try to welcome each new referral of mine with a little message saying 'hi' and covering the basics of earning on myLot. Maybe myLot could put a link at the top of the navigation page under 'discussions' called 'newbies'? Then any old hands could visit to help out. Maybe you could write a helpful article and myLot could make it a 'stickie' so that it always stays on top of the list? Go mssnow, go!! XOXO

I think having a welcoming committee is a really good idea. I dont know how you could make it work with so many people joining all the time. Maybe Mylot could send some advice for newbies when they first join or somthing. During the week my time on Mylot is speratic at best but you all have my support. Take care!!

Hiya Snow! I think that is a great idea! I remember how I was when I first joined, and it would have been great to have someone help me out. I would volunteer for it as well.

Being a newbie I TOTALLY agree with you! I need someone to welcome me,to teach me what to do...because is more easy to learn all this from friends instead to read the rules(lol...*wink*)... I agree with you!!! ...and thank you again because you"hug" me already at figurat! augusta
