dancing with the stars-heather falls on her butt!

I thought it looked staged and fake when Heather fell. I don't like her. Most handicapped people or amputees go do their thing and rarely talk about their missing limb. When they do talk about it - they sort of blow it off as no big deal. What class! I admire that! I feel like Heather uses it for attention! I also think she's treating the show almost like a big joke. I was really impressed with Apollo and Julieanne. I think those two may win it? Poor Billy Ray....he sure tries, but just doesn't seem to have it as a dancer. He's so, so busy on top of that with making a new album and working on a movie. The stress has got to be tremendous! I look for him to be voted off next or John.

I wondered when she did that, put her good leg on her partner's shoulder, why she didn't use the other leg. Why would she leave herself to balance on her fake leg? Well, she told us tonight that she was supposed to put her fake leg up. So she screwed up. She doesn't need to be heaped with praise for sub par dancing just because she has lost part of her leg. As for the band that wrapped around where her lower leg was attached to her upper leg, I couldn't for the life of me figure out why they didn't use something that was closer to skin colour. Why use white and make it so obvious? Well, she was in the bottom two tonight. Hopefully she'll be gone next week even if it does mean leaving only one female left. But Leila, wow she was hot last night!

I really wanted Heather to be bad and fall or her leg fall off. how mean is that? But she has impressed me. She has not asked for any special considerations and has been great. She is a good example for people who have lost limbs.

Apolo was fabulous tonight! I didn't think he was that great last week but tonight, he stunned me. His dancing was flawless, so sensual and sexy. Definitely the best performance for the night. I didn't think Heather was that great tonight either.

I think that they give Heather a little more credit than she deserves. She is an ok dancer but it seems like they are always heaping the praise on her. I don't think she is as good as the judges have been saying. I really enjoyed John Ratzenberger's samba.. granted the guy the is never going to be a great dancer.. but I thought his dance was very entertaining. I always enjoy watching him dance. I have thought that Billy Ray was the worst dancer from the beginning. I really think Billy Ray should go home soon (along with Mr. Drexler). It all comes down to your popularity with the fans though. (I guess more people than I thought bought that Achey Breaky cd.. :)) My favorites are Ian and Cheryl and Joey and Kim. You just never know how things will turn out.

I know I am late on coming in on this discussion but I also thought it was very funny when Heather fell and I too thought it was meant to happen. I do know that even before the season started I didn't want her to do good or even get this far along in the competition. Now if she was a good dancer it would be different but she's not. Why is it when she falls that some of the judges say it won't matter in their score they give them but when some fantastic dancer makes a bobble they deduct from their score and they let it be known they are doing it too. Not fair. In the seasons past I already knew who I wanted to win but not yet this season. There are about 3 or 4 that I would not mind seeing win. I would love to see Cheryl win again but then again I think Joey is good and he is having such a good time and then Laila is awesome and getting better all the time. I will be watching in pins and needles tonight hoping that Heather gets the boot. haha

I'm with you on this one- I thought from the beginning when you could see the part of her leg-- Quit trying to get sympathy votes-- and then when she fell-- how staged it looked- I again said quit trying for the sympathy votes- It didn't work though- Bottom 2 couples- I wonder if alot of us fans thought the same- My 2 favorites are Apollo & Joey! I always root for the men!

Oh, c'mon now....why don't you tell us how you REALLY feel? LOLOL! It figures that it happened on the night that I was watching something else (the new series DRIVE)! I wish I could have seen it. I'll have to check and see if it is posted on the channel's website. Should be interesting to see if she stays or not.
