Can You Love More Than One?

I was reading someone else's blog yesterday and decided to ask the same question here at MyLot that I saw there. This may seem an odd question to ask, but I was a bit curious to see what you felt about this. Can a person love two people with the same intensity? I am speaking of romantic love. For example a man loving two women, a women loving two men. Three men, Three women, etc. Do you think this is possible? Or do you think that we can love only one person at a time romantically? I am curious to see your thoughts on this subject. Myself? I am not so sure of the answer to this question.

Well if at the same time it is not possible, but when duration of time is different then it is possible. For example in a lifetime of 10 years it is possible to love many persons but not simultaneously.

Yes, that is a good point and I agree with loving someone with the same intensity but at different times in your life. I think maybe you can love 2 people simultaneously but not with the same romantic intensity, there are different kinds of love. I am not so sure, the blog that I read on the subject was answered by many with just about a split decision on the topic.

I think and believe that we could love two or even three people or etc but without the same intensity. You could love Person A but love Person B more than Person A. I've read it somewhere too that the intensity is really different and that's why we can choose that person who we could be with forever.

I would think that romantic intensity would be enough to deal with in a relationship with one person let alone two. On those lines, how many people find that type of romantic love even once in their lives?
