This is every mum's nightmare. When a child wants a toy or anything from the shop and we wont buy for him/her, he/she will throw out tantrum and cry out loud right in front of every shoppers. How do you handle this situation? Are you going to give in or just let him/her cry?

It depends, if it is necessary why not but if it is just for pleasure I won't. I don't want to spoil my own child that will be possible to become our headache.

If he is wanting something that we did not plan to buy, then I won't buy it. If my son throws a tantrum, I pick him up and out the door we go, and head for home. He usually stops crying when we reach the door LOL. He has since outgrown it and knows when I say no, then its no. Oh he will keep trying but i have to stay firm. If he brings his own $$ saved then I allow him to buy whatever he wants, now and then i will make up the difference depending on how much it costs.
