Why Do You Think People Visit Museums?

Because we want where we come from who we are, we want to know our or others history, is very important for us to know all this.When i am in a museum i am so impresed, i am almost like in a church, is so silance, i like to be there any way

I can't speak for everyone, but for me it's a sobering experience that puts my life back into some semblance of perspective, if only for a brief while. Most of us have an inflated sense of importance, while we are very small in the scheme of things: a "mote in god's eye," if you will.

I lone museums and I don't visit only when I travel but I try visit museums at my city too.You learn the history of the country,many things about the couture,so earn so many knowledge not only from books but watching the stuff with your eyes.I always go to museum with my son and try teach him whatever he can learn from there.

History is very important, I think people would like to have knowledge of the past. I believe that in order to know where you are going, you need to know where you have been. I love museums, & I make it a point to take my son and soon my little girl:-) (Great Question)

Museums enable people to explore collections for inspiration, learning and enjoyment. They are institutions that collect, safeguard and make accessible artifacts and specimens, which they hold in trust for society.

I have visited a lot of museums and have learned many things from the arts, sculptures, articles and specimens. The one museum which i visited here at my place depicted the history of Indian culture from which i have learned some interesting facts about Indian Culture as well how we got freedom.

I go to museums to see the way our ancestors lived. How things were done back in the day is very interesting to me. I love everything about a museum because it has to do with history which has been one of my favorite subjects when in school. Not only that, remembering some of the bad things helps the future from repeating it. Of course we don't want to repeat the bad things.

When I can visit a new town, the first thing I do is visiting a museum. I love art and my favourite hobbies are drawing and painting, so you can see how important can be visiting museums and looking at pictures. Looking at all these masterpieces is very important for my "art", because they give me the possibility to improve my painting.

First of all it makes good impression on other people. Lol.
Second, i love museums, it is like a good book and a puzzle combined together, it is interesting. There is also the knowing of new artists and new culturs. The museum represents the world for me from a different prespective, and i enjoy it very much. I guess that is why i go to museums from time to time.

I don't kow about the rest of the world, but as for me, well, I just like old stuff. The dinosaurs and stuff don't amuse me half as much as the old swords, guns and what not.

I enjoy going to some museums myself. I am not the greatest fan of historical museums - but I understand why people find them interesting. I think you can learn a lot from visiting them.

I enjoy art museums much more. I enjoy looking at art. I enjoy discovering new artists, and also to view artworks that I have previously only read about or seen in book or on tv.
