What was your favourite Atari 2600 game?  |

|  I know you have one, you child of the seventies (or eighties), you! I had over 300 Atari cartridiges, if you can believe that. I used to buy them for $0.99 from KayBee when they went on clearance. I simply adored the original Pac-Man, horrible graphics and all.
Do you remember Atari? If so, which was your favourite game?

I have an Atari 2600 emulator on my PC, so I go back and play some of the older, more obscure games, not that Pitfall was obscure, mind you, but that's one of the ones that I like to play from time to time. There was also a sequel, Pitfall II, which was more like an adventure game.
The gold and silver bars were fine, but what the heck were those purple bars? | | | |

| |  i had one of the first atari's that came out
i probably had pretty close to 200 myself.
i think one of my favorites was "aventure"-with the dragons (that looked like lowercase "g") that chased you? i used to get so mad when it blocked me and i couldn't run from it *chomp*

| |  I was a total Atari addict! I think my favorite game was Pitfall. I also loved Frogger, pac man, Mrs. Pac Man, Defender, Space Invaders... so many! I actually got a blister on my thumb the first day I got my Atari, because I played it for like 8 hours straight!

| |  My siblings and I had an Atari game when we were kids. My favorite game was 'Pitfall'. I loved the little guy that you would make jump over rolling barrels, and swamp pits, and of course the crocodiles.
My second favorite game was frogger. We bought the little hand held plug in controller of it for my son last year and he loves frogger too. Except this new one is a bit more difficult them the one that I was use to back in the eighties.
I saw that the Atari(or something like) it was brought back about a year or two ago. Except the new on has the games programmed on it. It does however, still have the look of the Atari except no cartridge spot on it. I told my husband that I wanted it and he does too.
