What is your favourite Queen Song? |
I don't think I like as many songs by anyone group as I do Queen. While it's nearly impossible for me to pick a favourite, March of the Black Queen from Queen II is near the top. It's so whimsical and full of such vivid imagery, I can't resist it.

paidreader (2491) | 3 years ago | Oh yeah, that's a good one too.:)

elizabethbathory (549) | 3 years ago | Even though they're somewhat "played out," I still love them both. And I never fail to sing along to Bohemian Rhapsody whenever it comes on the radio.

2. Stiletto (3180) | 3 years ago | I like "In The Lap Of The Gods" from Sheer Heart Attack. "Now I'm Here" would be a close second. Actually that whole album is my favourite of all the Queen albums.

elizabethbathory (549) | 3 years ago | It's nice to see someone pick a couple of the more obscure songs that haven't been all over the radio.

3. paidreader (2491) | 3 years ago | Yikes, one out of so many? That's going to be a pretty difficult choice. Just about anything off their greatest hits albums, but I can't figure out which one has all of these on it. (Sorry, my albums are packed away) We will rock you, We are the champions, Bicycle race, Fat bottomed girls and alot of others. Hubby & our daughter know I love this collection, so they're always turning the radio up when we hear them. LOL, I just loved playing the record til they begged me to turn it off, but tapes & CDs are so much better.:)

6. MKWillis (184) | 3 years ago | I've always loved "Bohemian Rhapsody", of course, but my favorite Queen song has to be the glorious "Somebody to Love".

elizabethbathory (549) | 3 years ago | "Somebody to Love" is a beautiful song. I even like the George Michael version, though he can't hold a candle to Freddie Mercury, as far as I'm concerned. I miss Freddie's voice.

deesamps (469) | 3 years ago | I like the song "Somebody to Love" too! It is such a great and beautiful song. The best!

elizabethbathory (549) | 3 years ago | Have you ever, by any chance, seen the video that they did of that song? It stars George Michael, but it's a moving experience, nonetheless.

chocobaby (575) | 3 years ago | i also like the song "Somebody to Love" along with "love of my Life", "I Want to Break Free", and others. but of course the song "Bohemian Rhapsody" is among the tops.
| |
elizabethbathory (549) | 3 years ago | As much as I enjoy Queen's version of Somebody to Love, George Michael's version is, perhaps, even better! Wait a minute! Did I just type that? No!

10. scarlet_woman (8839) | 3 years ago | as much as i like the older stuff,i'd say it's "who wants to live forever" at this point. i think freddie already knew he was dying at that point-it has a haunting quality to it,like he was recording that last bit of himself.

Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | Ooh, yes, that is a good one. I love that one.
I was going to swim against the current and go for one of their later songs, "Pressure" with David Bowie, but I do love, "Who Wants to Live Forever." Thanks for reminding me.

elizabethbathory (549) | 3 years ago | Being a huge Highlander fan, I cannot help but love "Who Wants to Live Forever?" That's one of those songs that drags you down into the emotional depths, especially considering the fact that Freddie is no longer with us.
