As Benjamin Franklin said, "If you want to be loved, love and be lovable."Do you really love someone if he does not love you back?

if a person doesn't love you back... this is an unrequited love! you may continue to love the person but there's no guarantee that he'll love you back.

oh, my. that makes one get caught up in a miserable situation. i will never allow this to happen to me. when a condition like this will keep on existing in someone, it will either be that the person will later on wallow in self pity for an unreciprocated love or, that the person shall become obsessed with a perceived love. i say that it is only a perceived love because, there is no point at all of expecting anything good relationship coming out from a one-sided affair.

how true is this when benjamin franklin said that there is a need for us to love and to be lovable in order to experience how it is to be loved. for me, it will be pointless to love anybody who does not love me back. there will be an attraction at first, and most of us will work on that attraction thing. then we get past it, as we notice the entirety of the person. if everything about him/her is acceptable, then we will move on to a higher plane of commitment. how can we achieve this end, if and when, the love that i have cannot be reciprocated? no, there is no way that i can keep on really loving him/her.

We can love anyone whether or not the other persons love you back. Love can be come into many meanings. Love is unselfish and Love is God. So, feel free to love anyone be it your enemy (Love your enemy) or youself.
