What is your favorite material to sew...  

I love flannels. I've made more flannel jammies for my kids than they can actually wear. I'm sad that the weather is warming, and they don't need them anymore. I also love sewing with fleece. I've got a few fleece blankets under my belt, and they are so warm and cuddley soft!
My son asked for a stuffed animal made out of really shaggy fur. I'm not looking forward to that. :)

I prefer cotton. I like the feel of it, and I find it's very easy to sew (and pretty forgiving if you make a mistake).

I have sewed with cotton, rayon, fleece, and flannel. I think that cotton and fleece are super easy as is flannel. Slinky materials like the rayon and satin are a little harder because they like to move around so much.

I love to sew cotton type fabric because they are easier to work with, and I wear a lot of cotton clothing. I find satin etc are difficult.

well i do not think that i have a favorite material to work with i really like making fleecy blankets but i will work with any kind of material that i can get a needle through i agree cotton and fleece are very easy to work with i think that satin and silk is rather hard to work with because if you misplace your needle into the material it will show the needle hole after you pull the needle out and you can see where you made the mistake
