What do you think about the news that Rosie O'Donnell is leaving The View in June? I knew when she signed on that it was only a one year commitment. They haven't even replaced Star Jones yet, so now there will be 2 seats open. So who do you think they should hire to come on The View?

I haven't really watched that show since the first season. I don't care for Rosie at all so I can't say I'm upset she's leaving.

Yea !!!!!!!!!1 I'm glad to hear that!!!! I don't know who they should get to replace her or Star but anyone can be better than them. Rosie is a hypocrate. That's my opinion.

Rosie O'Donnell and Elizabeth Hasselbeck went at each other today on the View. This was amazing video. They were discussing the Iraq war. I think it shows the division amonst Americans regarding this war. Please check this video out. It will take sometime to download, so please be patient. Rosie looked like she was almost in tears. This was not staged. It was real. Tell me what you think. Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lloyd Here is the link: http://abc.go.com/fsp/index.html?channel=TheView

I'm not sure who will fill her place- I think they will try out different people! And then pick the one that fits! Although I'm not sure because they did this and got Rosie- They need someone to shake things up a bit! But not as bad as Rosie! I love Elisabeth Hasselback- I can't wait for Rosie to be off- I hope she doesn't get her own show again- although I wouldn't watch it regardless!

I think they need more balance on that show. They have one, quiet, polite, somewhat informed, somewhat conservative woman with Barbara Walters, Joy Behar, and Rosie O'Donnell, three very opinionated liberals the latter two of which are quite loud and often obnoxious. Laura Ingraham or Michele Malkin might be good.

I agree with you that they need more balance. I always thought it was odd that they added Rosie when they already had a comedian(Joy Behar). Honestly, I wish they'd replace Elizabeth too-- she annoys me!

Elizabeth is the token conservative and no match for the others. They need somebody smart and gutsy who won't just give up and be shouted down.

yeah, those two might balance it! I don't think the network(s) can handle that sort of thing though!!
