How many DVDS do you own?

Are you a collector? I love collecting dvds, right now i would say i have about 350 dvds. How many dvds do you own? Do you usually rent, buy, watch it on pay-per-view borrow it from a friend, or what do you usually like to do?
I rarely rent because i would just rather spend a few extra dollars to own the movie.

i usually borrow from friend. but i do have a collection of dvds and vcds of the tv programs that i watch like smallville, friends(i collected all the episodes from the first season till the last), alias, charmed, the oc and one tree hill. i have 60 dvd's of movies. most of my collection are of tv programmes.

I love my dvd collection of course its not as large as yours but maybe one day it will be that big I would say I have about 150 dvds right now. We do often rent off of pay per view or even rent them from the video store. I love going on ebay and getting the movies. I get alot of good deals that way. We use to be in that club where you get some many dvd's for a really cheap price but they kept sending us dvds we didn't want. I was thinking about getting in the disney club one for my daughters. We always buy the newest disney movie anyway so why not get a good deal on them.

Call me outdated - but I dont have a DVD player. My old laptop plays only VCDs. And I watch TV only in the hostel common room or a friends room. I dont have a TV yet!! Itsnot that I cant buy one - just am not a very avid TV or movie watcher. I watch movies either in the theater or on TV.

I do collect some of my favorite movies and specially the one with episode. Maybe there's a 50's now.

Over 2000
I don't really count them and I don't plan on counting all of them but I remember I did aaaaages ago and I had over 2000 and I have got more since then.

I have somewhere between 100 and 150 DVDs. I'd love to have more, but I don't have much space or money, so I'm very selective about what I buy. It has to be something that I know I'm going to watch every so often. I rent from Netflix, so I can rent an awful lost of movies for what I would normally pay for just one. Of course, I buy most of my movies used, from half.com, amazon.com, and from Netflix, so I manage to get most of the ones I really want for very little. I don't have cable, so I also borrow movies from a friend.
