Armstrong really had went to the moon or was a total fraud?  

I think that there really was the lunar landing and Armstrong really did walk on the moon.
It would be an awfully expensive thing to hoax because we really did see the rocket leaving the earth. They had pictures of the earth from space and pictures of close ups of the moon. They even brought back moon rock to test. If they were only pretending,they were risking everything to do it.

I don't know what to say because I saw that documentary and they proved that Armstrong has not the first men on the moon and all the pictures where fake . I have my doubt about this but Armstrong changed the history with his achievement and everyone learns at school about him being the first men on the moon . So if it's fraud then all of us had been tricked .

I have an email which explains quite reliably the various facts that prove that the landing was fake.But its a long shot to call.Besides how can i be sure that the email itself is genuine or not.So for now I believe It was the truth

That opinion has been going around for decades, I am sure. Besides the documentary, there is at least one book I know of that describe why it couldn't have happened: 'Dark Moon: Apollo and the Whistle-Blowers' , and the movie, 'What Happened on the Moon?'. Was that the documentary you saw?

I guess there are supposed to be a number of anomolies on the film which support the hoax theory, such as, Some of the lighting on 'official NASA film' are very suspect. The NASA picture to the left should show the astronaut in complete shadow because the sun is behind him, and yet the whole of the astronaut is caught in bright light? The shot should appear like the one on the right which was simulated by David Percy.

You mean the area 51, where they shoot the moon landing? Yeah, it is fraud and I do not think we will know what really transpired. They want to give too much credit to kennedy that way.

The only people to know if he went to the moon would be him and Nasa. But I still think he did go to the moon. I mean lauching a shuttle with no one in it is a waste of alot of money, so that's why I think he did go to the moon. So there's only one answer to find out get more film from Nasa and see if he really went to the moon.

I believe it was real. Afterall, I watched it live on TV and we all know that TV never lies..lol. Even if it was a total fake, it sure seemed real. It doesn't really matter now. With all the newer technology, it is only a matter of time before they fake a landing on Mars...lol.

i have seen the documentary about it saying that armstrong did not really land on the moon. watched it like some months ago.

as for me, i don't really care if it is true or not. what i know is, it started giving people hopes. not hopes of getting to the moon... but hopes knowing that we can reach the impossibles. that there is nothing really nothing we can't do if we wanna do something.

for me, it's not the physical landing on the moon lessons we get from that... it's the inner reflection we see behind that landing on the moon scene and event. there is something magical about it... something which has awaken our systems into dreaming more and doing our best to make our dreams come true.

I remeber watching in on televsion when I was young and did see him on the moon walking around adn left a flag up there too and now for the past few years I have been hearing so many stories and I don't know what to believe.

Why Armstrong and Aldrin did not fake it.

The geologists had calculated that the earth and the moon are very close to the same age.

It was assumed that the carbon 14 dating process places the earth and the moon at MILLIONS of years of age.

These same scientists have been able to calculate how much dust accumulates on the earth and moon.

Taken at that, if you measure backwards to the date to which carbon 14 dating places the earth and moon by assumption, there should have been several feet of dust.

That is precisley why the lunar lander had such huge pads onto which the LEM was to sit on top of the dust.

Additionally, there were probes on the bottoms of the pads which were several feet long so that the sensors could pass though all of the dust and contact hard pan after setting down on the dust. Again, it was carefully calculated that the age of the moon times the amount of dust that should have accumulated amounted to several feet.

And additionally, the ladder to get in and out of the LEM was about three feet off the pad because there was the calculation of the lander sinking into the dust that much. That would have meant that the astronauts would have casually stepped off the ladder directly onto the dust insread of having to jump down.

But for the majority of Armstrong's walk about, all he seemed to be interested in was the absence of dust. And the probes were a hazard because they sensed hard ground and then shot out from under the pad and were a puncture risk to the astronaut's space suits.

Additionally, the depth of soil that Armstrong and subsequent astronauts found confirmed the biblical account of 8-10,000 years of age for planet earth. Which also means that current evolutionary therory is dashed to pieces as well.

Apollo 13 which was declared a successful failure because of the explosion in the service module behind the crew capsule could not have been faked either.
