Tanning. A tanning bed or the old fashioned lying out in the sun?

I personally love just to lay out in the sun, it's so peaceful. Since I had my son who is disabled, I have to go to the tanning bed because I don't have much time to spend lying in the sun. I heard that some states have laws that regulate people under certain ages can't use a tanning bed. So, which do you prefer and why?

I really dont prefer either, both a pretty bad for your skin. Though I do have to say when I was working on a cruise ship in Hawaii, I did enjob just laying out on deck. Where I live now we actually have something called Mystic tan. It is like a shower booth, and it sprays you with sunless tanner. It is good because you get an even coat of it, and dont have to worry about streaks or anything like that.

Ohh..icic. Tanning bed is also not very common in S'pore. This is the 1st time i heard about it. For me i will prefer to lay out in the Sun. Because it's more natural and i enjoy it. However, i am also interested to use Tanning bed. It saves me alot of time. By the way, do you own a Tanning bed or you have to go to some shop that have this kinda tanning serices.? Izzit expensive?

No, I always just go to the tanning place. It would be really nice if I had one at my house however I don't have any room for it. It's not expensive, I pay 40.00 a month and have to buy lotion. Thanks:)

To be perfectly truthful with you, I have to say neither. When I was younger, I loved being suntanned. I used a lamp as a young man; and also made extensive use of various tanning cremes. By the time I was in my 20s or so, although I'm a fair person, it had become so easy for me to get a tan that I could get suntanned on my face in about half an hour. Suddenly though, I stopped. Now, I prefer being my natural pale self. Too much tanning can be dangerous. I feel I have to look after myself in that direction. I feel fine being how nature made me.

That's good that you can be comfortable with yourself. It is dangerous. Thanks:)
