Have you got any plan on Labor Day? How many days do you have for holiday?  

I don't have any plans for Labor Day, but my husband and daughter will surprise me. They will take me to dinner and somebody will sing or some years half of the restaurant will sing to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant will be one of three, as they are my favorites. I enjoy Black Angus, Red Robin and Bakers Square and the meal will end with either pie or ice cream.

We don't celebrate labor day in may in my country, We celebrate labor day the first Monday in September. Different communities have different ways to celebrate the day. Some will have parades with small fairs. Some will do nothing. All government off ices will be closed as well as the banks.. Families will get together for family reunions and picnics. Some will just stay home and vegg out. Some will go shopping so most all the store will remain open and have big reduction sales. This is the time of the year that the big ticket items are put an a special sale. This is the way my country celebrates labor day. It can be more work than actually going to work.

In India May 1st, the International labour day is a nationwide holiday. Workers conduct rallies and pagentries under the banner of thier trade unions. There will also be meetings to remember martyrs sacrificed their lives for the cause of the working classes. Though all parties conduct them, the Communists are in the lead.

Labor day is just an ordinary day for me. It is a regular day and I just proceed with my day as I use to. The usual housechores, the usual dealings that I do with others around me. No difference at all and I do not look forward to having any happening which will disrupt this flow.
