I hate "answer only" discussions.

I'm sure this is just my quirk. I am not overly pleased by discussions that have no counter discussions. When I see a good discussions, I want to see replies to responses and a good dialogue going. It disappoints me when a discussion of mine doesn't create a conversation. I would almost rather see no response at all. Am I wrong????

can I suggest looking under the topic of debate. I know what you mean, it is always more fulfilling when you have a good dialog and get opposite points of view, especially when there is a logical reason for that point of view and not just 'I said so' I have made some posts that ask for opinions and choices. Now they may not be exactly what you are looking for, but it is becoming what I found is needed to get a set of good responses.
