I have been a NASCAR fan since the days of the King, and the Allisons and the Yarboroughs. But NASCAR has come a long way from the days of only the good ol' boys and running barely street legal hot rods. NASCAR has become a big time, professional sport. That means bringing in drivers from other tracks, the open wheel drivers, Can-Am, formula 1 drivers. Why is that a good thing?? Because it shows that NASCAR is no longer the RedNeck cousin from the hills. NASCAR is now the big show. Let's welcome Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, The Bush brothers, but remember we got Dale Jarret, Dale Jr, Mark Martin, and even Kyle Petty there in the lineup. It doesn't make NASCAR any weaker. It shows how strong it is and can be.
