I don't go to farnmers markets as there are none near us, although I would like too.
I don't put anything away for winter, as most foods are available frozen. Some fruits aren't, such as strawberries, so we just have to go without.
Although the supermarkets can often import foods from interstate or overseas when not in season.

I always forget about farmers markets, they only have them on Saturday here and we're usually running a billion errands. I don't freeze anything for winter, our winters aren't that harsh and are freezer is teeny tiny, I'm lucky if I can freeze a loaf of bread in there lol.

I am vegetarian and yes, I buy a lot on Farmers Market...but I always check if they have organic first...I like freshness and lower prices...many times I get contact and I travel to see farm and I can buy anything on farm for less....
I keep some fruits and vegetable for winter....but only in dried form...

My wife and I shop at a few different Farmers Markets here in Minnesota. We love the freshness of the fruits and vegetables available. She also stops once a week in the Farmers Market in downtown Minneapolis to buy vegetables for her restaraunt as they are so much cheaper than a grocery store. We don't freeze anything though. We eat it too fast. Hahaha! Thanks and have a great day/evening.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~
