Memories triggered by smell

Did you know that certain smells can trigger more vivid memories than visual or audio cues? Think about it for awhile. What smells trigger your favorite memories?
The smell outdoors when there's a light rain mist in the air always sends me back to Germany.
The smell of line dried linens always reminds me of my grandmother.
The smell of spearmint always reminds me of a certain past boyfriend.

Yes it always happen on me.
Actually, smell can trigger memories like all of my good memories in province, whenever i smell like something that close to the smell of province, i always remember my memories in the province.
I miss the ambiance of province...
