I think the Damsel is ridiculous. As a child such books always annoyed me....why is she just sitting there waiting! lol. It teaches children to wait to for someone else to help them and I think it is unhelpful. I had the belief I could not help myself as a child from many ideals like this and if I was taught I could I may have had a better childhood.

You get all the adventure and excitement, rather thanhanging about the castle with you rhair leaning out the window waiting for a rescue. Where is the fun in that?!
