Some years ago I learnt that deodorants could contain aluminium. I checked one deodorant I had and there it was among the ingredients. Aluminium is not good for health so I wonder it there still is some of it in the deodorants sold today.
Is there aluminium in your deodorant??
Has anyone heard that it would be bad for us to use it??

Yes, aluminum is not good for health. Our skin is prone to absorb aluminum. The disease Alzheimer is caused by the presence of aluminum in brain. Some deodorants contain aluminum and it should, therefore, be avoided. Even we should avoid to use aluminum utensils and cookware. Instead deodorant, you can use rose water for same result.

We don“t want Alzheimer for sure, rosewater sounds interesting. There must be many natural deodorants, I hope we get some good ideas here..:)

I hardly ever use deodorant.
I wash.
it's not sweat that smells bad, it's the bacteria which breeds in it. fresh sweat doesn't really smell of anything.
most days I just wash, and on more humid sticky days I'll occasionally use a deodorant (never anti-perspirant as they are harmful) which contains bicarb and anti bacterial essential oils like citrus or tea tree to kill the bacteria and prevent the smell.
so there you go.
I hardly ever use deodorant.
I don't smell bad.
in fact, I get people on public transport commenting on how good I smell.

Well, that is a good method, one of the cheapest and there seems to be natural products too if we cannot wash when traveling or some other occasion.

When I found out there were harmful chemicals in deodorant, I sought out one that was natural. What I found was the Thai Crystal Deodorant Stone. It is a milky white somewhat clear looking stone that you rub under your arm. It's only ingredient is mineral salts. It contains no aluminum chlorhydrate. I love it, and one stone will last you a full year and more. I paid $5.49 for mine and found it in a health food store. I hope you try it for health's sake. Be well.

Yup, I have tried it and I think it works well. Nowadays I wash myself often so there is not so much need of deodorants. I also found out that if I use Molkosan, also from the health store, mixed with water it works like a deodorant.
