When you see a cockroach, will you leave it,kill it and trample it? |
'Yesterday, when i was in my friend's home having dinner, suddenly a big cockcroach was crawling on the floor,i was screaming loudly,my friend's boyfriend catched it with his bare hands at once,he even held its tentacles and shown us how the cockroach was struggling, finally,he chucked it away at the toilet cistern.'
Are you afraid of cockcoaches?I reckon most of the women do and men seems not to be afriad of it. Do you leave it alive and let it run around because you simply do not afraid of it? Or do you kill it at once? do you kill it by your hands or spray the insecticides? Do you just throw it to the rubbish bins or do you wrap it up to make sure it will not escape in case you have not killed it?
For me,I will use the vacuum cleaner to suck the cockroach it,i will never touch it by my hands. How about you? Do shares your thoughts:)+

1. sunita64 (5596) | 3 years ago | Well whenever I see a cockroach crawling I feel very uncomfortable so what I do is I catch him with the help of a paper and throw him outside the house, but never kill him.

easy888 (4305) | 3 years ago | Oh,you are so generous to the cockroach, hope no one will trample on it at the street.:P
| |
sunita64 (5596) | 3 years ago | No I do not leave him in the street, at the backyard of our house there is garden, yes cats and lizards might eat it.
| |
easy888 (4305) | 3 years ago | Oh,the lizard will eat the roach up,may be i have to ask my friend to keep some lizards at home. If you just leave them at the backyard and they are not eaten by the cats or crows, they will come back later, won;t they?
| |
sunita64 (5596) | 3 years ago | You are absolutely right they keep coming back and I keep throwing and this relay is repeated at least twice a week.
| |
easy888 (4305) | 3 years ago | May be you can put some insecticides at the backyard or in your house,it is quite effective as the cockroaches will 'bring' those insecticides to their nests and they will all be killed.

I_LUV_U (958) | 3 years ago | It seems to me like you both are having serious discussion over cockroaches. Does it really deserve so much attention? I would do nothing to him if he's quiet and static. If he touches me over and over, i'm sure to handicap him. My regular weapon to deactivate cockroaches is BROOMSTICK!!

3. subathra (2812) | 3 years ago | I hate cockroaches and fear to see it whenever it enters my room.I will shout if it flies and falls on me.I have never killed or dare to touch it as i feel uneasy with this insect. My mom is not scared and she will get it in her hands and throw it away.
If it enters any cupboard with clothes, it will hide some where and live there. It can leave its waste in our clothes which is not easy to wash.We have a spray to kill these cockroaches and we spray it in corners of the house when we have this insect problem.
| |
| |
easy888 (4305) | 3 years ago | Exactly, you should not let them hide in the cupboards or you may find a nest later. May be it is better to put some insecticides in the cupboard as well.

4. andyvish (659) | 3 years ago | My first reaction would be to jump out of its way. I am afraid of cocroaches. One day it entered my inner ware and created havoc there.
Another thing I hate is rats. They are night crawlers and are very dangerous. Another day one of them came a bit my skin from my leg and next day I got it trapped and as a revenge let it go in an open field. The crows had a feast.
| |
| |
easy888 (4305) | 3 years ago | Do the crows like to eat the rats? Thank you for telling me as i do not know it before.
| |
Taskr36 (4591) | 3 years ago | Crows are scavengers and would never eat a live rat. Vultures might, but even they typically wait until an animal is dead. As for cockroaches, I step on them if possible. If I can't step on them, I'll hose them down with bug spray. They occasionally invade the aviary where I keep my birds, so I try to step on them there or use the vacuum.

easy888 (4305) | 3 years ago | If i am the only person at home,i may try to get the vacuum cleaner as soon as possible. So anyone will kill the cockroach for you or you just leave it alive?
| |
aidonia (2736) | 3 years ago | If I'm alone I'll take the vacuum cleaner but screaming and using it from as far I can so the possibility the cockroach escape is bigger than die...

9. Jakker27 (3910) | 3 years ago | I've only seen one. It was years ago and it was BIG. My God I think I was on the bed but I scream like a little girl. Finally I go myself together and jumped on it. It wasn't the best idea I have to admit but I got it. I cannot stand insects. I know they're important etc but they just freak me out. If I saw one now i'd probably con smokey into chasing it lol. It's a perk of having a pet. He'd probably run away knowing him though. Men ARE afraid of it, it's just your friends boyfriends is obviously insain. Why would anyone grab it with their bare hands -shivers-. Goodluck

10. muscare (1147) | 3 years ago | My wife would probably be screaming just reading your post!! Of all the bugs and insects she doesn't like, cockroaches are the worst for her. I don't like them, but thankfully we don't get them in our house. I tend to tread on them, sweep them up and throw up, no sorry, I meant throw them in the bin, lol! I don't know if you've heard the saying that a cockroach is only as dirty as it's environment, but I don't believe it. I think they are filthy little critters, and I certainly wouldn't be picking them up!

easy888 (4305) | 3 years ago | My friend;s home is very clean, but may be the cockcoach comes from her neighbous which seems to be very dirty.
| |
muscare (1147) | 3 years ago | Sorry, easy888, I think you misunderstood my response. I wasn't implying that I thought your friends house was dirty, not at all. That is just a saying I was always told, meaning that if a house was clean, then so was the cockroach, and vice versa. Sorry if it came across wrong.
