Well Gabs makes a coffee and she enjoys drinking it while typing away on the Keyboard. When I finish it I think hmmmmm I could do with another one (well it kept my Brain going, I think lol) So I go in the Kitchen and I put the Kettle on. I star looking for the Cup I am sure I brought it with me into the Kitchen, I go back in the Living room, nope no Cup. I go in the Kitchen to look in the Sink nope no Cup. Well Gissi comes through and is watching me as he does. I give up looking for the Cup, I get a clean one and make another Coffee. While I am typing away it is not leaving me alone where I have put the Cup. I mean I only went from the Living room to the Kitchen how can someone loose a cup that way (me me me) An hour later it is time to take little Fellow out
I have to open a new Packet of Pooper Bags as we used the last one that morning. While Gissi is pratting about jumping all over the Place I open the Bin and put the paper in the Bin and I close the bin, then I had to go back to the Bin to look and make sure I was seeing things. I opened the Bin and there it is - my Cup. Now I do not remember putting the Cup in the Bin I mean I know I can get absent minded but that is bad I am sure it is
I think I need to see about a Brain enlargement as mine seems to shrink constantly
If I stand in the rain will it make my Brain grow do you think lol? Or should I just give up on the hope of Brain growing? By the way all that time Gissi was dancing around like a Kangaroo, for a small dog he can't half jump lol

I think you've left it a bit late to stand in the rain, my friend! ha ha ha. You're so funny, but I can vouch now for you doing things like this! I've done some pretty daft, blondish things, in my life, but this takes the biscuit... or did you throw those away as well! lol.
Brightest Blessings, love and hugs, if you remember! ha ha

I have to agree with you gabs, I am forgetful also. I was walking around looking for my reading glasses and I looked all over and like you I had only been from one room to the next. My darling little grandkids were here and the oldest one had a big smile on her face. She kept watching me. Than finally she asked me what I was looking for on the ceiling. I just looked at her for a minute and then my brain woke up as I realized that my glasses were on my head. I reached up and took them down and started laughing. Of course, she couldn't have just let me know that they were ontop of my head. She is twelve and takes advantage of these kind of situations. I hate to see her turn thirteen. Than she will be in the teenage years. lol

yeah I spend my time losing stuff and looking for them everywhere ....
just sometimes when you think about something else you do things without really realising you are doing them
Everybody probably does that from time to time
For instance, a few weeks ago, I was looking everywhere for the paper towel roll, I knew it was not finished because I had just started a new one the day before ... I kept looking and looking and .. nothing. I gave up and opened a new one
A little later that day when I started cooking dinner I opened the fridge and ... there it was!!! the paper towel roll ... in the fridge!!!! I mean come on ... lol I am sure I didnt put it there, so it must have been hubby!! LOL ;-)

Good going, Gissi. Woo Hoo!!! You did it again. You got her real good this time. I told you plan B3 was going to work well. Lizzie and Gizmo are very proud of you as am I. Ok, on to the next mission. You are the best little spy dog.

LOL - I had the same thing happen to my Sunday and I've still not found the missing item. I know I wouldn't have taken it any place but my bedroom or possibly the bathroom but I've torn both apart and no sign of it. Only thing I can figure is my cat Indy stole it but my son is going to be very upset if he finds it in his bedroom - teenaged boys don't like Mom's personal undergarments at all.

LOL, gabs dearie. All the while, I thought mylot can help enlarging our brain. It does stimulate my brain sensory to the max. Your brain must have ton of things going on there or Gissi might be the one playing a prank on you, LOL! I can't stop laughing here. I need to see how high your Gissi can jump. My bunny certainly can jump better than a kangaroo.
My forgetful friend is currently taking Gingko Biloba. It is a supplement for brain memory. You might like to ask your doctor about it. No harm learning more about the supplement.

As long as the brain augmentation isn't some kind of bruise ... or a bump on the head. Anyway, I'm not sure what's worse. That, or these.
I need to write something down, & I get a piece of paper to write it onto. I go for a pen that was right there but I cannot find it. When the pen is found, it's found in the last place I look - in my hand.
I also knew someone who was frustratingly looking around. It turned out that he was looking for the glasses that he was actually wearing.

Congratulations Gissi!
You are a fast learner! I see you must be up to page 23 of that book - and you actually managed it! You are so clever! Keep up the good work, my brilliant four legged friend. We'll have a lot more fun and laughs.
I just can't wait until you get to page 43 - but no cheating. You know you have to keep going in order. If you skip any pages, it won't work. Maybe by the time I get back here, you'll be up to page 43 and if you succeed, we'll have the biggest laugh ever on myLot!
Gabs, you are in for many treats as Gissi gets through that book!

LOL. I've been there gabs ... so many times.
I've put things on the stove to cook, only to wonder why it's not cooking 30 minutes later, and then realize that I didn't turn the stove on.
I've managed to place a dishtowel in the fridge before without realizing it, and yes, I've managed to put a cup in the garbage before too lol.
I've even got the coffeemaker all set up and ready to brew - then forgot to turn it on. I've given up wondering of my brain will grow lol. I've also come to the conclusion that standing in the rain makes it shrink!

Gabs if you stand with the rain going into your ear I think your brain will grow LOL
I guess when you got the coffee out you put the cup in the bin? I know Gissis did it he is playing tricks on you.
I have a baby gate so Petie won't go out the front door so the cool breeze can come in. Petie can jump over the gate but he does not know it. He jumps straigt up in the air higher than the gate but he has not realized he can jump over the gate. Shhhhhhhhh do not tell him it is a secret. LOL
I hope you did alright on Gissi's walk.

Well there is no one in the world always perfect and do something right. So don't think seriously about that. It's only a thing anyway. Don't let that's little problem bothering you. But don't take it easy. I mean you have to try to solve your problem, may be you can write a note about something that really important so you won't forget where you can find it.

I constantly leave things lying around and then suddenly come across them .. but I can't remember ever putting anything in the bin .. I can only wonder where your train of thought was taking you when you absent mindedly popped the mug in the bin ..
Hehehehe ... you are a 'silly billy' ... ;o)

Oh Gabs, you're a girl after my own heart. I've given up on where I put things. I just get fresh cups for the coffee and fresh glasses for the ice tea and collect them all whereever I see them at the end of the day. Since I'm constantly drinking something while I'm on the computer (Ice tea right now), ther are always five or six cups and glasses to ge gathered up and cleaned at night. It's okay so long as I don't spill what I'm drinking on the keyboard, I'm happy. I've ruined two or three keyboards that way and my cat has knocked a glass or two onto the keys lso. LOL

Oh gabs, you are such a sweet heart. But really I think it takes gamma rays or kryptonite or something to grow our brains.
I have a habit of hiding things and forgetting where I put them. I knew I bought a certain item for my hubby one year for Christmas, well 3 years later while looking for something else I not only found it but another wrapped package that I had no idea what was in it. That was fun!! Hee Hee! He thought I was crazy and that I was imagining I bought it. Well, I fooled him (and scared the h@ll out of him when I screamed after finding it!)
It's not old age, it's too much junk stored in our brains. We don't need brain enlargement, we just need brain washing. No, wait a minute, that doens't sound right either. LOL
