Do You Think Men Find Intelligent Women A Threat?

well as you wrote in the second part of the message, I think you should better ask men..as far as my opinion is concerned, I think that men like intelligent women at first but then they didn't like the everyday challenge..I mean they don't like to discuss with them on an equal base and they don't like the idea of confront!! this is my idea and I can say that this is what I learnt after what happened to me, too. I insted love intelligence and I can only think of loving men that I can deeply appreciate and I evaluate people because of their minds and culture above all.

No. I'm not intimidated by intelligent people. Intimidation is a path to defeat. I also believe that an intelligent person would be intelligent enough not to intimidate unless there is a reason for it, such as winning by intimidation. Only in certain situations would I agree with winning by intimidation, such as a game, or certain kinds of contests, etc., where winning is that important and there is no harm to the opponent. I believe that even our legal system is a contest. Otherwise, why would one seek the 'best' and most intelliegent attorney? She might be a woman, too! I want intelligent people around me.

I have found that men are sometimes attracted to intelligent women but then become intimidate or threatened by them as their insecurities develop when they are in a relationship with them. I think it is their lack of confidence, and low self-esteem that makes them fill threatened.

I don't see them as a threat at all, in my opinion they're just a good thing especially if they use their intelligence well and don't keep themselves stupid.

not really.... i know so many guys who find intelligent women quite stimulating. on the other hand, i also know a guy who has this ego problem n really cant stand women who know more than him. so i guess its subjective. i personally like guys who are intelligent, so the question of being intimidated does not arise! :D
