are people in your office fashionable? is it important in your job to dress fashionably? and keep your looks up to date?
sometimes it seems rather silly to be chasing after the latest fashions. but it's also important to look presentable and not dowdy. to what extent would you say you try to 'keep up' with looking trendy?

yes, i agree. being "fashionable" doesnt really mean that you have to be "in" with the current trends and fashion. it just means looking your best, looking neat and presentable.that's the best way to impress clients. :)

some of my colleagues at work are quite fashionably dressed
and sometimes you can see the trend for the way they wear their hair
but to me it is most important to feel comfortable
if i dun feel comfortable in what i wear, then i dun think i will look good in anything
be it branded fashion or clothes from 'this fashion'
it's most important to feel comfortable in them

Nope, it is not really important for me to be fashionable. As long as I look neat and decent, there is no need to pursue fashion. IMHO, I think fashion is a over hyped thing.
People in my office, depending on which department you are in, some are very fashionable, always following the latest trends that you see in the magazines, while others are just dressed neat to work. Most of us are engineers, men and women alike, working in the back end of the office who doesn't see the day of light except for lunch time and after work. So no point in trying to dress up too nicely. No one gives a hoot!

At work, no it's not important to be fashion, it's more important to look professional with the suits and stuff. For my daily life, I do enjoy looking fabulous and fashionable, but I wouldn't chase the fashion trend. I would get one or two items that in vogue in the season and mix them with my "old" outfit, I think in this way, I could have fun mixing and matching and spend less money on following the trend. I guess I am more of a semi-fashionable type of girl. Some of the trends suck and doesn't match with my personalities or outlook, I would just totally ignore that trend in that season.
