Wow! I never get to feel such a feeling of importance from anyone elses, but only with my own mom and her words of wisdom that truly touches deep down my very heart and soul.
There was one time that we're together talking about life and the people around us, and we come to the point that we're talking about our own families and as a daughter I opened up and shared to her about my feelings being a wife that there are really somtimes that me and my husband will get to the point having misunderstanding maybe because I complain sometimes about our situations as a couple, that because of his work I myself sometimes feel being set aside and not giving enough attention by him and as my mom and I go on with our conversation...I came to the point of telling her that I feel like i'm not so important or i'm being ignored with my husband...and what touches me the most that came out from her mouth is when the time she heard me saying such a thing then she give me her sweet words saying, "You are important to me as my daughter and you are not being ignored by this world because you are very blessed to have me and your father as your earthly parents here on earth."
When I get to hear and received such words that has great impact then I started to have tears in my eyes and realized from those very moment how important still I am as a person and as a woman to be loved by someone who's so dearly in my life, and that's the love of my mom and her kind words given that encourages me in life and making me strong enough to face any life's challenges may bring me now.

Thank you gberlin for sharing. Yeah, I just realized it then that I shouldn't make myself feel like i'm being compared from his work because I believe like what you said that all he's doing is for my own good and benefit and for our bright future together, that is why I get to understand now that I shouldn't feel like being ignored at all. I just thank God for clearing my mind about the situation and for giving me back the strength and encouragement that I needed the most when the time that I was feeling low about myself.

You are lucky to have a great and inspiring mom. But, let me tell you that most of the moms are good to their children. It cames naturally to them to be kind, caring and affectionate to their children.
Then what is the reason that you feel so happy and proud of your mom whereas many others may not feel the same way. Well, the difference is that you have faith in what your mom says. And for this, credit goes to you and also your mom who has been successful in creating trust in you for her.
This kind of relationship is an asset and would help you in achieving great things in life. It is good to come across worthy daughters of worthy moms.

Thank you so much Norstar for sharing your thoughts here. Truly, it's our mothers nature to feel such a thing to their children and I also must to admit that not every mothers are the same way...sad to say, there are really mothers out there that don't ever take their duties and responsibilities to their children as a mother, same thing with the children to their parents specially to a mother. So, personally for myself I am so much glad and so much blessed to have such a lovely mom that God has given me in life.

:-) thank you Norstar, I'm so very flattered and overwhelmed of your compliments about us, both my mother and I. I believe each one of us has our own different perspectives in life, even our personal lives...but what I just do hope that everyone will come together into the bond of unity, towards one another becoming one in faith and love that nothing in this world would be a hatred from others. I'm talking about this with the involvement of parents to children, and from children to their parents.

Sweetie and always treasure that
Parents love is unconditional and will lead you through the rest of your Life
I lead my Kids with my Love
You see I never had that when I went through my bad Marriage for 21 years I was on my own and I deal with it the best way I knew
There was no one as such to let me know how important I was when my Ex Husband made me and even said at times that I am not that Important
I know I was to my Children but I had things from my Children but as they got older it was harder to hide
So Sweet hold onto it and remember you are important you have a lovely Mum to support you

Oh I love your mom for saying such a wonderful thing to you! Words like that would always remain in our memories that we get to nurture during and cherish in all our days. So whenever you feel you are not loved or depressed, just remember what your mom said to you and you will instantly feel alright. God bless your mom!

Thank you so much cdparazo, yeah it was really giving me such a great impact when I heard her saying those lovely words to me and I feel so overwhelmed inside that I can't explain everything I do feel during those times, and even until now I still remember of what my mom has told me.

I feel you have a wonderful mom there. There are many people who cannot (or will not) share their problems with either of their parents which is a shame because being a fundamental relationship in our life, it is very beneficial to be able to communicate with such openness as you describe.:-)

Hello derek_a, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Yes, it's indeed a rare thing from other people of such thing like openness or to share your personal feelings towards someone, specially to a person who's only looking for their loved one's happiness and it would surely hurt them as well knowing that we've been hurting by someone. I just thank God really for such a great gift given to my life, and that is the gift of having a lovely mom in this world.
