Who's Kung Fu is better: Jet Li or Jakie Chan?

Since you wish to point out past history, let's get a more complete view.
In Fist of Fury, Bruce Lee kicked Jackie Chan off a twenty foot ledge onto an unforgiving cement floor. Yet Jackie Chan survived.
Then in Enter the Dragon, he not only suffered the indignity you so much relish, but also was conked on the head with an errant nunchucka swing from Mr. Lee. Yet Jackie Chan survived. I thinks bruce lee vs jackie chan is more interesting:))))

Jackie Chan I feel has a better showmanship when it comes to kung fu. I think his drunken style is cool.

firstly,they both are actors,not warriors or figthters .
jet li's kungfu is more fantastic,you can see the traditional style of chinese martial art -but just for a show,jakie chan create a lot of funny moevments,and is much more like westten combat style.
but if you wander the winner of the real fight to death between them,i have to say it again:they are actors,not warriors

I like Jacky Chan better so i'll choose him over Jet Li anytime.=) At least Jacky is funny.=)

In my opinion, they have different martial arts style. Jet Li is more of the serious and Jacky is on the comedic side. I have always liked comedy movies so my vote goes to Mr. Chan:)

As far as I know, the Shaolin temple in China under the communist regime teaches and practices sequences of Modern Wushu, which is now getting promoted as an Olympic sport. Jet Li is a former all China champion of modern Wushu. The forms and movements are fancyful and have elements of traditional Kungfu and Gymnastics. However for fighting they use a varient of kickboxing. The traditional Kungfu training is lacking in the part of Jet Li. Jackie Chan has learned bits and pieces of many traditional Kungfu styles. However the authenticity of Drunken Kungfu is also doubtful. It appears that Drunken Kungfu was also formed by the Communist government in the 1970s along with Modern Wushu.
As a Kungfu practitioner who tried out Modern Wushu as well as traditional styles like Wing Chun Kungfu and Jow Ga Kungfu, I would like to say that real fighting skill comes with the practice of traditional Kungfu and not Modern Wushu.

I personally think Jet li as he train wushu and he is one of the Beijing, China wushu team member before. But for Jackie Chan he is a stun man he just learn kungfu for movie.And i think Jet li know more about kungfu then Jackie do.
