I am sure that this song has been around for awhile , but I first heard it song in the summer of 2003. I had forgotten about it until a Southern Gospel group from Ontario recorded it on Cd. ( I did a search for this song on Google and was surprised to see that it was written by Gloria Gaither,William Gaither and Woody Wright.)
These are the lyrics .
The other day I passed the place you always like to go
And I picked up the phone, because I thought you'd want to know
But I forgot you weren't there , I miss you on these days ,that I am reminded of your smile and the funny things you' say.
I see you most at Christmas, you were like a little kid
You always loved a good surprise and now I must admit
that I long more for heaven than I ever did before.
You give me one more reason and each day I want it more.
Chorus :
Knowing we can spend a life time reminiscing on the past.
Knowing I will see you face again where tender moments last .
It makes me want to go there
Knowing I won't be alone
Knowing you will be there , makes it easy to home .
You left a group of fisherman ,
Somehow you left me too
Thought I have felt you many times and I know you'll see me through
I have always wanted to feel your arms and looked into your eyes
And talk forever me and you somewhere in Paradise.
Chorus :
I think is a beautiful song and I can listen to it again and again and not get tired of it .

I remember this song but it has been quite a while since I have heard it. The local radio station here in town only plays gospel music. I think they call it Southern Gospel. I love the music
