I am sure that this song has been around for awhile , but I first heard it song in the summer of 2003. I had forgotten about it until a Southern Gospel group from Ontario recorded it on Cd. ( I did a search for this song on Google and was surprised to see that it was written by Gloria Gaither,William Gaither and Woody Wright.) These are the lyrics . The other day I passed the place you always like to go And I picked up the phone,because I thought you'd want to know But I forgot you weren't there , I miss you on these days ,that I am reminded of your smile and the funny things you' say. I see you most at Christmas, you were like a little kid You always loved a good surprise and now I must admit that I long more for heaven than I ever did before.
