Yes, this is not a joke.
If i had a choice between going to the shrink or keep participating this webs discussions, i would definitly would stay here.
I mean it is free. I do get to get out everything that troubles me. i can bring out my most complicated problems, without anyone pointing a finger on me. And i have a 24 hour support. Lol.
what about you?
PLease vote: A shrink or this website? and why? ;)

definitely, myLOt, no issues about it. i have no inclination or urge or urgency to visit a shrink. on the contrary, i would like i have every urgency and urge to come here. infact, from the time i wake up i think of logging in and all through the day i just hope for the same. this place is addictive liranlgo, i just cannot do without its support.

I wouldn't pay money to see a shrink. I wouldn't even go if it is free. That's me so it is definitely myLot.

I feel that I'm on that big brown couch every time I come onto Mylot, Mylot, or more importantly my friends on Mylot have helped keep me sane! I have shared a lot of my problems, depression and sought advice and I have been inundated with help, friendship, hugs and more and yes all for free! I did leave Mylot for about a week, fearing that I was spreading 'doom and gloom' because I was going through a black period and I was conscious that I was getting too 'miserable, pessimistic' and forever seeking sympathy and many shoulders to cry on! I have been to a shrink and believe me this website wins hands down every time!

I hope this is similar? I was hoping to find a local grievence group while i was on Mylot, but i think i have pushed that idea out of my mind! It just doesn't seem that important anymore. I could be wrong! Sometimes i don't know what's best for me! I can't decide on one way or the other! Sorry! Take care Liranlgo.

Yes, Lira, it is one of the best platform to vent out our feelings and share our problems. Here we can also share our joys and sorrows and we (I being one of them) here have wonderful set of friends, who will immediately come for advice, in case of trouble and always come out with their support, which we may not get even from our real life friends. And you can put a discussions any time...someone or the other would be there to answer your discussion with a thoughtful manner.
Given the choice, I would also like to stay here and discuss my problems, joys and sorrows with my kind and dear friends, instead of doing other things.

I would never go to the shrink on my own free will. I've studied psychology and I don't believe that anymore. Psychology is mostly a sum of known facts, wraped with a scientific aura which makes it look important.
This is my opinion. I am sorry if I hurt someone... myLot is much more interesting, no?
