| | 2.  redyellowblackdog (2508) | 1 year ago |  You bet! Some of John Wayne's movies are really great. That said, I can not stand most of the ones made before WWII, the really early ones. Gosh, some of those really really stink.
A few of the later ones aren't too good either.
Fortunately in the later years there are many more good ones than bad ones. I do still very much like HONDO, NORTH TO ALASKA, THE COWBOYS, THE TRAIN ROBBERS, SHE WORE A YELLOW RIBBON, THE SHOOTIST and many more I can't remember right now.
