Chris on Idol!!

Carrie underwood is good and so is Kelly Clarkson. I also liked Bucky, but I am not into country to much.

I felt that way about Taylor Hicks. Good on the show, but nothing after the CD. I had no desire to buy his CD.

the funny thing, I voted every week last year, over and over. I sometimes voted 30 times in one night. Then the week that he was voted off, I called just as every other week, yet did not get through even one time. I decided it was rigged that way, and I no longer vote. I did vote the week that it helped the children though.

I will not ell you any previews, but Chris is the best part of the show. I was not impressed by the rest of it. I never liked Jordon, but she seems to be improving. Or I am just getting use to her. I do like Blake and most of the young girls I know do also.

I trust my 7 year olds critiques LOL. She is like a young Simon with her perspectives and honesty. She loves Chris Daughtry's CD. She and I have been a big fan of Blakes all season. He's the only one that has something a tad bit different to bring to his performances. Jordin, a great singer, but a dime a dozen when you look at the genre she tends to sing and fit in to. Melinda and Lakisha were great old soulful sounds, but I was always afraid they'd have a hard time marketing their style amongst today's scene, much like Fantasia--she had that old soulful vibe and could sing like Aretha, Gladys, and Tina too, but the youth of today don't want that LOL sadly....

I think it did come down to the best two as far as being able to sell them to the public. Jordin is young and hip and has range, and Blake is stylish, hip and has a fun vibe he brings to his performances.

I wasn't overly impressed with this season to begin with, but that's probably because there were no real genuine rockers like Bo and Chris, and heck even Bucky LOL. I can't wait to see this new "Band" show they are working on...

Do you mean Rock Star? I watched that last summer and fell in LOVE with Lucas! He is so quirky. I do not know of any other Band show.
I agree about being able to 'sell' Jordon and Blake. I think Jordon will win, because Randy said on some show if he had to pick, he'd pick her to be the winner. Of course he ho-hummed about it and said stuff about America choosing, but I really don't think the public has as big an influence as they say. If it wasn't fir Sanjaya, making all the waves, the show would not have been as popular. He wasn't very good, but I heard him on our local station, some tape of him singing in his hometown church, and it just blew me away! He sent chills he was very good. I think he needed more confidence or something, it was a whole different person singing in that church. One that would have been in the top 2-3 at least.

No, last week on AI Ryan announced that they wanted submissions from bands for a new show they would be doing.

I like Rocky Star: Supernova and INXS as well. It's more the genre I am into LOL.

I missed out on That announcement. I am usually on here while I watch, so I miss a lot. I was glued to the TV last year, and I missed NOTHING, but this year,...yawn!

I think Chris will be around for some time. He has an amazing voice as well as personality. Oh and that smile will melt glaciers!

The CD is great Amy. If you get the chance to hear it, jump on it. He is the one that is singing the goodbye song"Home" on this years show, if you got to hear it any. In my eyes, from what I see he is the real winner. He is # 6 on the charts, or was last week.
