May 23 is........

Happy Anniversary to them, and many more. My parents were married in 1952, so 55 years this October. What ever happened to marriages that lasted like those? I saw a discussion the other day that basically said we take more time and know what we are looking for in a house then we do in a spouse. Having been married 3 times, I finally found the one that I really want to spend the rest of my life with. Just wish I'd have found him 20 years ago! lol then again if I had we probably wouldn't be together now.

I think in the 1950's since they took 3 years to have me and I was born in 1960. Still married and pushing 80 each of them. They married during the summer. They paid for their house what we pay for some cars now. Times sure do change.
